FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Neapolitan pizza?

Our restaurant serves Neapolitan style pizza, which is characterized by a thick, airy crust that is charred all the way around and a thin center which may have more sauce than cheese. Because of this, Neapolitan pizzas are usually small and personal sized (12 inches). The crust is also intentionally charred all the way around due to the high heat (900+ degrees) of our oven, which adds flavor to the pizza. Please note that this charring is not the same as being burnt, and is an integral part of the cooking process for our Neapolitan style pizzas. It is the only way these pizzas can be cooked.

Are you open for lunch?

Yes. We offer two ways to order your food during lunchtime, which is from 11:30am to 3:30pm. During this time, we do not have servers, but you can order through our Toast POS system or at the front counter.

To use the Toast POS system, you can scan the QR code at your table with your phone and enter your payment information to place your order. You can order food and drinks at your leisure and a food runner will bring them to your table as you order them.

We also have a water station and a station for extra napkins and utensils.

Alternatively, you can order at the front counter where it says "ORDER HERE/PAY HERE."

At 3:30pm, we switch to full service dinner with servers.

Do you accept reservations?

We accept reservations for parties of 1 to 4 people through Open Table on our website or by phone. For parties of 5 or more, you must call the restaurant to make a reservation. We cannot guarantee specific table requests, but we will do our best to accommodate your preference for a booth. There is a non-refundable $20 holding fee for parties of 6 or more, which will be applied to your final check if you do not cancel your reservation. We also do not hold tables for more than 15mins past the set reservation time.

Do you have a corking fee?

You may bring your own wine but a corking fee of $15 per bottle will be applied to your check.

Can we bring our own desserts for birthday parties and events?

Yes you can, however we will charge a $10 outside food fee.

How late do you serve food?

We kindly request that all food orders be placed by 9pm as we begin closing our kitchen at that time. Our restaurant closes at 9pm every day and our last seating is at 8:45pm. To allow our staff to efficiently close the restaurant, we ask that all guests have finished their meals and are ready to begin departing by 9:30pm. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

I love what you do, can I rent out the restaurant for a private event?

Yes you can! We have done many private events. If you are interested please email us the time of day, the date, the amount of people and your budget to: KevinTurnerAntica@gmail.com

What is your age policy?

While we welcome guests of all ages, we do not offer a children's menu. We kindly request that all children in our restaurant be well-behaved, as we are a small space and noise can be disruptive to other guests who often come in for date nights. If a child becomes disruptive and is causing excessive noise, we may politely ask that they be taken outside until they are calm. Thank you for understanding.

Can we use your restaurant to film?

Yes, we would love to have people use the restaurant to film, and we’ve down it in the past! We allow people to rent the place out to film for movies and TV. We charge $100 an hour, and only allow the use of our space during our off hours when we are closed. Email us at: KevinTurnerAntica@gmail.com

I can’t get a hold of you on the phone and your online ordering is off…..are you open?

We are open! However sometimes we get so busy that we literally cannot make more food and are at capacity for what we can produce in our small restaurant. Some nights more people want to eat here than we can physically handle. In those rare instances we have to turn off online ordering, and simply do not have the time to pick up the phone. Give it about 30-45mins or so and try calling back!

Do you have a time limit on your tables?

We do have some time limit guidelines. 95% of the time these time limits are not an issue, but occasionally on very busy dinner nights we have to adhere to a stricter policy on how long guests can occupy a table. As we are a tiny restaurant with only 8 booths we need to adhere to these limits so that more people have the opportunity to enjoy our food!

Your table will be available for 1 hour 30 minutes for parties of up to 2; 1 hour 45 minutes for parties of up to 4; 2 hours for parties of up to 6; and 2 hours 15 minutes for parties of 7+.

Can we request a certain table or booth?

While we will do our absolute best to accommodate your request of a booth or a table, we cannot guarantee your request. Sometimes we do not have room for a 2 top in a booth if parties or 3 and 4 need them, and sometimes large parties take up the entire middle section and we cannot seat people at a table. As well as on busy dinner nights, we cannot have diners switch tables mid service.
